I have a new quilt tutorial and it’s a fun one! The Regent Street Star quilt is a jumbo-sized quilt that goes together super fast (I had the top sewn up in less time than it took me to watch a movie!). Along with the goal of a creating a quick pattern, I also wanted this quilt to showcase beautiful, large-scale prints. You know those pretty designs that you almost can’t bear to use?!? Well, this quilt keeps them intact and let’s them be the star of the show. 🙂
The Regent Street Star Quilt uses 12 FQs plus only 1 1/2 yards of background fabric and finishes at 64″ x 64″. I used fat quarters from Moda’s Regent Street Lawns along with Moda Crossweave in black for the background.
You can find the Regent Street Star Quilt tutorial over on the Moda Bakeshop Blog HERE. Please let me know if you make one! I’m highly curious to see what it looks like in other colors and would love to see your version. You can tag me on instagram (@centerstreetquilts) or use the hashtags #centerstreetquilts and #regentstreetstarquilt on social media. Happy sewing!
Really great quilt, I love this! Thank you for the tutorial!

I’m definitely putting this one in the queue. It’s lovely! I’m doing a shop hop this summer and will be sure to find enough FQs to make it work. Please, what is the quilting pattern you used? It’s also on a quilt on a calendar in my sewing room and I was wondering just yesterday what it was. Thanks!

Hi Mary, I think the Moda Bake Shop site was down for a little bit, but it looks to be back up now. Hopefully that will solve the problem. 🙂

Hi Kim–I’m sorry the link isn’t working for you. I tried it and it took me there, so maybe give it one more try? You can also go to the Moda Bake Shop blog directly (www.modabakeshop.com) and put “Regent Street Star” into the search box to find it. I hope that helps!
